The story behind kin. starts on a crowded office desk. We wanted a bottle that carried enough water but didn't look like we were about to summit a glacier.
The cluttered-desk dilemma
Most insulated bottles fall into two camps: rugged, neon-accented survival gear, or flimsy glass that cracks at the first desk knock. Neither belonged on a calm, considered workspace.
We designed kin. as a piece of quiet office architecture — beautiful on an oak table, silent on a video call, and slim enough to slide into a laptop bag.
Tactile engineering
A bottle should be satisfying to use. We tuned the thread pitch on the loop cap so it unscrews in three smooth turns, and powder-coated a warm, fingerprint-free matte grip.
When water stays cold from stand-up to sign-off, hydration becomes a pleasure, not a chore — and that's the whole point.
